In a twist of fate on the day we surpassed our target of 100+ members I suffered an Achilles tendon rapture injury and after surgery am somewhat incapacitated, confined to home rest. However, the recruitment drive continues, thanks to my good friends and batch mates led by Patrick Tan who scored this "scoop" of sorts - 3 new members from Atlas Ice Berhad. Our new members are Chee Kim Hoon, Kong Soo Har and Balekasnan Mutusamy, all from Class of 1966.
As some of you may be aware, Atlas Ice is almost as old as Malacca ACS and celebrated their own Centenary on 27th February, 2012. At that time, five of their directors were MACSians and in celebration of "A Century of Achievements" Atlas Ice donated RM100,000.00 to Malacca ACS!
